Hey all.. my guy Kyle Mick referred me to this place. I'm looking to do some research on building my next system this spring. I've had alot of stuff over the years, but nothing crazy and in the terms of SPL.
Currently, I've got a nice clean setup in my daily driver. It's an Infiniti G20 with an Eclipse CD8053 dead head, Infinity kappa 4x6 plates up front, MB Quart tweeters in the pillars, Kenwood excelon 6.5's in the back, cadence 60x4 amp, an old Apline flex2 for the tweets, an 8" DVC Diamond sub in a ported box with a Directed 250x1 amp at 2ohms, all wired together with Kicker wiring.
I really like how it turned out, but I've had a real problem with the bass cutting in and out since I put this system together and something finally fried, so I'm ordering a DC Audio lvl 2 8" and an audiopipe amp to really give it a step up. Also, the cd player thinks there's a disc lodged in there at all times so I got to get that fixed to.
Anyway, I'll mostly be lurking, I'm sure, but wanted to say hello.

Just starting install.. notice the janky rear speaker wiring that was rigged from previous owner..
Probably went along with this jarble of wires under the rear seat. Looks like 1997 radio shack rca cables and about 14 gauge power wire. SICCC
Side note: Those Excelons DWARF those **** infinity's.. They're clean sounding, but **** they are overrated.
