Hello Guys! I am the Proud owner of a difficult 2012 Ford Focus Sedan SE (4/6.5s, 2/Tweeters) The Only car I owned before this was a 2005 Hyundai Sonata. When I removed the Sonata doors the wires for the speakers went directly into my Speakers crossover (see Infinity Kappa 63.9i For crossover) Simple. Right? Now on the Focus I removed the door panel to see this clip thing with 2 wires (I assume are +/- Wires) going in to the clip that is located on top of the speakers bracket. Would I Remove the Clip leaving the wires and crimp more wire to each of the existing wires to reach my crossovers to make it play music? where would I want to place my cross overs? inside the door by the glass or inbtwn the door panel and the door? I heard that water can get inside of the door. True or False? Thanks Guys!

Yes, extend the wires (make sure you get the + and - right) and hook them up to your crossovers. Are the xovers sealed? I would try to mount them between the inner door skin and the panel. You'll need to use some ccf to keep them from rattling around though. And yes, it does get moisture in the door.

This is my thought as well. Would be a much better box volume if you could buy the 12" version of those subs.
