Newbie 2011 FORD SUPER DUTY OEM UPGRADE ADVICE

I want to keep my Navigation, Sync and steering wheel controls. Not sure if I need to upgrade back speakers or the head unit, but want to upgrade with Amp (s), Speakers, Sub. I am willing to spend $3.5K with install. Any advice would be great. Just starting to research. Merry Christmas!

you should still have money left to decide if you need or want a dedicated sub channel afterwards. I would wait until you have that installed first though. For some one you is just looking for better clear louder sound it will probably be enough. those mids will get very low in a well dampened door.

sacsking, i am older so i don't play music really loud. I like a full tight bass, i like to hear fingers going over frets on acoustic guitar, etc. high quality sound with no l I listen to a wide range of music. Hope that helps.

that's why I put the jbl there instead of a normal line out. The ms-8 will do 90% of the work for you leaving you to fine tune.

that will be taken care of with the passive x overs the rainbows come with.

OP the stuff I listed is all geared directly towards what you described, I took a guess at you owning a 2011 diesel as you being older and more into clear responding music then loud out of control anarchy. That is also why I suggested listening to it first before buying and installing a subwoofer.

if i decide to get an ms-8, im not going active, just good for staging and such with the L-R EQ and whatnot. perfect for the OP too since he wants quality sound and is fairly new with a big ol' fat budget.

Thank again to all. Mod's nothing material. 67 gal titan tank, air lift leveling kit. So with this amp I can add sub without adding a dedicated amp. Also what are thoughts on rear speakers.
