okay i have no clue how to use that crap. by normal rules i think the q will be louder or just as loud but sound better

i clicked new project and it said to select a driver...i didnt see any fi subs listed...or am i doing it 1000% wrong?

Yeah it's probably not in there, you'll have to add it. You just need to put in the T/S parameters

Come on man, I'm not going to spoon feed you. Name the sub, enter the T/S specs, enter the mechanical crap if you want to, then save it. Do the same for your other woofer then proceed to model them in their respective boxes.

not asking to spoon feed i got the fi q in there. now im asking what am i exactly looking for? just click the spl tab?

You just start a new project, select your woofer, what type of box it is, something about alignment or w/e, then boom you have a rolloff curve. Change the box size and tuning to what your looking for. Then start another project with your other woofer/box design and compare the two curves.

The 18 will win hands down. IIRC a 15 has almost twice the cone area as a 12, and an 18 almost twice the cone area of a 15.

thank you....i think the same thing. i will have the sub i think by next sat.....and i may build the box this week....so it will go in once i receive it....traded two 8's for the 18" q //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif should be decently loud off 1500rms and sound really good...im stoked...never ran a 18 before or a sealed box
