so just basic answers please....

12" tuned to 37 in a 2002 accord off 1500rms vs. a sealed fi q with bp option off the same power

not getting too technical which should be louder? the 18 has tons more cone area but then again the 12 is ported...i think the 18 will be 1--2db's louder given the same grade box/install on each sub....your opinions please?

Hmm that's kind of tough, but I guess I'd have to agree and say the 18 will be louder. You could try modeling them both in winISD and comparing the graphs.

Tell you what, i got 2 pyramid 15s on 900w thatll blow that 18 out of the water on 1500w.
