Newb Battery Connection Question

Ok, I have been browsing a lot of pics of engine bays (with audio upgrades) and where the big *** red power wire links up with the battery, ive seen people with cool little chrome connectors on there. where do you find stuff like that? also, if i get one, do i still have to spray that anti corrosion battery shit all over it and make it look greasy and ****ed up?

I think you are referring to battery terminals? They can be had pretty much anywhere I would say. I get mine off of cardomain.com Lots of brands make them, that is, accessories brands, Stinger, Lightning Audio, Streetwires etc.

You can get them where ever car audio install supplies are sold usually. Sound Domain has them, Darvex too. You don't have to spray them with anything. If your battery is properly working and maintained.. you shouldn't get any corrosion.

Check out the terminals from rockford fosgate, they look pretty cool and I think you would like them.

Not meant to threadjack or anything, but I had a similar question regarding battery terminals. I have a Chevy Impala and GM uses a side post battery connection instead of top mount, however the Yellowtop Optima I replaced my stock battery with has mounts on top and side. Can I use the top mounts for my audio connections and the side mounts for the standard battery connections?

Ok, so you all did help me out a ton, but i have one more addition to this question. I want one with a red LED battery guage on it. I like the chrome or stainless finish on them. Can anyone send me a link to a good site with a silver (chrome or s steel) finish and a red led display? THANKS in advance
