Hey everyone,
New to car audio website, and car audio in general for the most part. I used to run a small kicker out of my old car but had a crappy Boss sub that would overheat all the time. Finally got a decent job and want to hook up my 2015 Mazda3 a little better. I listen to a variety of music such as electronic, rap, R&B, oldies (like 40s-70s), and spanish music (merengue/salsa/cumbia). After reading some about speakers and subs I've decided along the lines of these two below:
Sub-woofer: Rockford Fosgate P3D4-12 Punch P3 DVC 4-Ohm 12-Inch 600-Watt Subwoofer
Speakers: Focal 165A1SG 2-Way 6.5-inch Component Speakers
I want to run the component speakers in front, and a 12 inch sub on the same amp. I have trouble understanding how the electricity works on these things and want to know what amp can run these both smoothly under $250 dollars. I'm also open to suggestions on different sub/speakers under $200 each if you guys think there are better options!
Thanks, any help appreciated!
