new system suggestions

alright i have 3000 dollars for a new system could you guy help me with choosing some products i know i'm goin with an alpine head unit and polk audio components but where i need your help is with the subs their goin in a 98 gmc extended cab sonoma and i don't know what kind to get and what type of box to use i listen to punk rock, hard rock, and rap i need a setup where i can feel the bass drum in the rock music but still thump pretty loud when i listen to rap i was thinkin about 2 12's in a sealed box but have no idea which brand so any suggestions would be helpful

how much power are you looking to run? a couple 12's in a ported box tuned to 30 hz. will work.

i'm lookin to run about 1000 watts to the subs won't the ported box tuned that low sound kinda boomy when i listen to rock cause i'm lookin for the punchy bass sound for the bass drums

yeah i need everything but the head unit my friend already sold me one earlier this summer it's an alpine 98** can't remember last 2 numbers the polk components i've found for 100 i think it's a good deal but yeah if not you guys can recommend other stuff

That's still a pretty high budget if you buy your gear online. You can get some high quality gear. I don't have any suggestions tho for the music you like and what you're looking to get out of the subs...
