man i should have went with a 12 type x instead of a type r they look so much better i think with the black cf dustcap, i wonder if they get as loud as the R , ive heard they dont

These two Type X's are louder than the 4 Type R's I had off of 1600 watts RMS in a custom bandpass box, and sound so much cleaner. I'm just glad that this forum is staying on topic... I posted pics on some other forums and all they did was turn it into how RE is God and how Alpine can't compair... which pissed me off cuz I was nice enough to show the new system and all they wanted to do was have a product war. If you did that install yourself, thats very nice work man. The doors are clean as hell. I'm really diggin the doors. Especially the grills. VERY nice fit.

I really don't think it's anyone's business about the price. I have a 200 amp alt, but I haven't put it on yet. I had it custom made, and he put on the wrong type of bolt for the battery, I have to send it back for it to be done right.

I designed it, but I wasen't allowed to help on the install. I was orginaly going to do it, but my bud made me an offer I couldn't refuse. If I bought everything from him (not retail either), which I was going to do anyways since he gives me great deals his shop would fiberglass everything for me for free. So I went for it cuz it ended up saving me about $400 or so in materials. He was happy cuz he ended up getting 4 big glass projects by showing customers. I would liked to have done it all myself, but I know I couldn't match their glassing job. All in all I'm happy with it, I wouldn't mind having them do a custom center console or something, but if I did I would have to help on it so it would turn out exactly how I want it to.

It's actually an Audio Express believe it or not. He has some pretty decent people there working for him. I don't really mean it's his "personaly" shop, but he runs it/is in charge of it none the less.

It's out in Chandler, it's the "nicest" one I have seen. It's kinda a far drive for me. It's worth it seeing as how I get tossed free stuff here and there, and pretty much internet prices, well as long as it's something they carry.

hey man question for you, how does the midbass sound? i an planning on doing a 3 way set up BUT i want 8 inch midbasses because i cant imageine 6.5 midbasses getting much midbass out, and how does the MUSIC sound with so much bass?
