New System, new probs, fried xovers?

Heres is what im currently trying to run. I have a Die Hard automotive under the hood ground with 1/0 wire. From the positive post of this battery i have a strand of 1/0 going to my trunk and attatching to an optima yellowtop d34. I have the d34 grounded to my bare chasis by the axle in the rear.

My first problem is with my Profile ca600 which ive had in the back running my components for a while. I had it grounded to the neg terminal on the optima but i got SERIOUS noise issues when i did that so i regrounded it to some bare trunk metal. For some reason strange this began to happen. My Cadence components up front, not have NO mids, the mid woofers are not even moving and it's all highs. I also have a lot more noise whine coming from the tweeters, and when i shut off my car i head a POP sound.

Why are my mids not working? I checked all the wiring and it seems to be fine, all i did was change the ground. Could it be possible that i have fried the crossovers? The amp seems to turn on and function properly but i am getting NO mids at all. Help please?

Check to make sure the crossover on the amp is still set right. Also make sure the phasing of the mids is OK.

As far as your noise problem, I would try to reground your HU. You shouldn't have noise issues from grounding to the battery unless your HU ground is lees than adequate.

What would i do to check "phasing of the mids"?

Yea i tried that it looks like the amp may be putting out only high, i tried all the options. Is it possible to blow or fry two crossovers at once?

It seems that the speakers wont hit certain notes its really wierd. Both the comps work and i got rid of the noise by using a different ground but i dont know what else to do? It sounds like its tryin to skip background voices and just doing really really strange things.
