whats up everyone..

CAR:

2003 GMC Denali (white)

CASH:

$3,500

WANT:

Best possible system for the money.. I dont want to go to an audio shop and say i have 3500 what can i get?? bc im a moron and id prolly get ripped off.

make some recommendations everyone.. im not that knowledgeable of parts and equipment.. so please recommend some gear for me.

Remember its a big truck so there is a lot of space to fill. I havent considered whether or not I want a ported or sealed box. I listen to everything, rap, rock, dance.

I already hav a tuner and what not, so guys recommend

component sets

coaxs

subs

amps

caps

battery?

sound deadening?

remember i have $3500 to spend i could possibly get more if necessary.

Lets design this right guys,, Ill have pics up of the truck later on..

If it was me with that money I'd get some rainbow germaniums up front, (450)

biamp with a sundown audio 100.4 amp (350)

good basic ported box in the back (250?)

pair of Audioque HD3 15s (680)

pair of sundown audio 1500.1 amps (new bandwagon good amps haha) (900)

total $2630

save the rest of the money for sound deadening, a 220-300 alternator , a good battery, and good wires and hookup components

whatever system I go with i want to stick with one brand, JL, Rainbow, Alpine.. etc.

anyone recommend any good shops in or around NYC?

someone mentioned PRDPonce's shop in new jersey.. anyone know exactly what I should get or ask if i go there?

i think one brand might be pushing it a bit because it seems to me that each brand has a 'specialty' that it is renowned for, weather it be subs or amps but i guess if you can find a brand that does it all good go for that because its what your wanting. good luck

X2 If you want the best possible system for the money then your gonna have to give this one up.

Ive ripped my dash out and installed my Head Unit but that was easy.. If i can install this system personally or with a friend or two, id be saving loads of cash.. anyone have a website or some reading material for someone with a GM truck like mine to help with the install..?
