Screw it, I'm impatient. I'm going to hook it up anyway. I can upgrade later. I've read a lot of reviews by people that have less power than that and they said it was LOUD. It's not like I'm going to a sound competition or anything.

Could just buy a second 1206D and watch your gains. Could give you a little head room for future upgrades too.

I agree, a second 1206D wouldn't hurt. I have one 1206D pushing a Rockford T1 which they recommend to power with 600 watts rms. I wouldn't worry about overpowering it. I had 2 12d4 Type Rs just like you off a 1100rms and I was doing low 140's in a trunk on TL. Seat folded down, but did it with it up and didnt lose much. You will be fine with that power. Remember an important thing is your electrical. Might want to upgrade that before getting another amp if you go that route.
