New System - How's It Look?

Right now my car's audio is stock.

I have two Kicker CompVR 10" subs which are rated 400w RMS / 800w PEAK and wired 4ohm at the terminal cup.

The deck I am wanting to get is the Alpine CDA-9884 because one I love Alpine decks and two the red illumination matches my interior lighting perfect.

Now I'm just trying to find an amp. I've been looking at my options on Crutchfield as that's where I plan to purchase my HU.

Here is a couple of amps I was looking at but not sure which would be the best deal or if it's what I need, so I need your guys' help!

Alpine MRP-M500

Kenwood KAC-9104D

Infiniti Reference 1600a

MA Audio M1900XE

Looking for all opinions and open to all suggestions.

Thanks!

I'd suggest you buy used equipment from people on here. You will get way better bang for your buck. Where in IL are you?

he says he has two kickers. So if its wired to 4ohms at the terminal. They should be both dual 4ohm subs. So you should look for a amp that is stable at 1ohm or get a two channel amp and bridge it. This way you don't need to rewire your subs.

Thanks for the fast replies guys.

I am located in central IL and I know I can shop around to find some better prices but Crutchfield is going to throw in free wiring kits and bundle the deal and I'll be shopping for a better price after I get that quote.

The subs came from Kicker wired and everything...I just know that it is 400W RMS and 4ohms at the terminal cup.

Also I just found this amp and think it might work even better then the options I posted above:

Rockford Fostgate Punch P400-2

I have found that amp at other online stores for about $150...so I'm aware Crutchfield is overpriced, just looking at their selection for options.

IMO, wire it to I think you can go down to 1-ohm, and it'd be easy/cheap to find a 800@1 amp. 800@4 is equal to about a 1200@1... and, those are expensive. =|

EDIT:: Also, those subs can probably take up to 600 RMS. I'm don't know much about Kicker, but IIRC, they're a good company that makes hardy subs. So, if you can get a 1000@1 or 1200@1, it'd get much louder.

Well I'd rather just not mess with having to rewire it and just leave it a 4ohm...I know it's gonna cost more when getting an amp, but it's ok.

Forget Crutchfield and all of their bs selection... Look into the Arc audio KS 300.4 bridged will give you 350x2 That'd be enough to get those moving... If you want more power you can always move up.
