i just sold both of my Jl 13 w7 and picked up 2 Re 15 XXX..

just bought an Hifonics Colossus amp and going to get rid of the Orion 2500d.

sold my indash and upgraded it to a touch screen and some more sh1t....

now this weekend is time to start building the wall in my explorer..

for those who has expierence w/ building walls, whats some of thie things i need to do before building the wall? i know and read a few tricks already, and also what would you recommend the box to built to? ( vol. size and tuned to). it is a DD but will be going to alot comps...

any help or ideas would be appreciated...

brace..lots of it...u dont want to build a wall and when the bass hits your box starts breaking, and flexing all over the place

Start with a wooden base. Cut a 'dance floor' out the shape of all the space you want to cover so you can easily slide it into position and have something to screw/bolt it into.

how about box size? what cu ft should i build the box to? i dont wont to build it to big.....i trie to search for what RE recommends per 15, but didnt find anything...

y would u get rid of the orion and get a hifon colossus? i dont see the reason behind that,????? u should have juss kept the orion honestly, would have been better off, but thats another thread. good luck wit ya new setup
