new sub on the way had a few questions

hey guys great site.

ive recently ordered an infinity perfect 10.1 d to replace a 4 year old infinity perfect 10" svc sub that recently blew.

i opted for the dvc incase i wanted to add another sub in thee future i hope this was the right move.

anyway the amp i currently have is an mtx thunder 2150x 2-channel 350-400 watts rms bridged.

whats the best way to wire the sub 2 ohm or 8 ohm?

also will i still be able to bridge my amp or am i supposed to run each vc off of a different channel?

ive been reading the forums for hours and i just wanna make sure i dont mess up this new sub.

also i read the tutorial for setting gain levels. but i was wondering if there is a method the setting the frequency level? do i need to set the freq level before or after i set the gains?

oh yea btw she sub is going in a sealed box if it matters

since the amp is only stable at 4 ohms bridged... you bought the wrong sub man. Wire it at 8 ohms or get a new amp.

how many watts will i get at 8 ohms?

can i wire each vc to a different channel?

your saying my amp isnt stable enough to handle a 2 ohm load

wow im retarted. not only am i broke but the place i got the sub from will not accept returns unless the product is devective.

what kind of amp would push this sub at 2 ohms?

what if i purchased another infinity 10.1 d could i wire them together to achieve a 4 ohm signal? would 400 wats rms be enough to power 2 10" perfects?

ok i just saw the diagrams in the sticky for wiring configurations.

so if i had 2 subs i could wire them to run at 4 homs correct?

would i be able to bridge my amp then? i would assume i would. but i dont know how two subs will sound with only 350-400 watts rms.

how do you guys think it would sound???

i could upgrade my amp in the future

i cant believe my luck. i ask my roommate before i ordered the dvc sub and he said it would work no problem. i took his word for it and now im paying
