Well Im updating my current system (sig) for my work truck.

1998 ford ranger.

So far I have purchased a JL audio 300/2. And will be adding a set of Alpine SPX-17pro. For the HU Im waiting on the release of the CD7200MKII

I just installed the 300/2 and I noticed a very good difference from the Premier.

The gain on the bass link is very low. I have it just so that I get enough output. It actually doesnt sound that bad in low output. Just enough kick to help out the front stage.

Are you running two tweeters? What are your plans for the substage? Basslink fits nice in that little spot, but you can do better for an SQ build. I see a matching 500/1 and IDQ10 or 12v3 in your future.....

Two tweeters? Its a cap that covering the door window crank. My manual windows were converted to power.

I know I can do better with a sub setup. But I decided to keep the sub setup as simple as possible.

Gotcha. I feel ya man. I actually was looking into getting a Basslink just to get me out of my last year of college. But some things changed in my life...so I have a lot more money to spend on myself now...
