New Soundqubed amps.

I was kinda hoping they would be coming out with a bigger amp. Like 7.5k
There was an AQ 20k. I don't know why Soundqubed doesn't make them anymore. People would buy them..

Soundqubed was probably p*ssed after that hifonics vs soundqubed video. They knew they had to up their game lmfao. Well it will work, I'd be down to get a 4500 for my new 18s in the future.
The 4500 doesn't do a whole lot more than the 3500 did. They changed the name and added about 300 rms. I'm not saying its a bad amp, just that its not a huge improvement power-wise.

There may be other improvements to the internal components that don't have to do with pure numbers. Could be beefier internal components for enhanced reliability. We'll know more when gut-pics are released.

Im still looking for an AQ20k. Been wanting one since they came out.

I don't think they were trying to make more powerful amps. They already do over rated power. They just redesigned the logo and decided to up the power a little on the 3500 (that already put out 4200) and call it the 4500.

Then the 1200 and 2200 also got the "upgrade" and a little extra power for no cost difference. I won't complain about that at all. ***** they can't be strapped with the others but thats understandable.

They still have plenty of 1200s and 2200s in stock. Then when they run out of stock they will have the new amps for sale. Will probably cut the price on them to get rid of them for the new amps.

I think it was a good idea to change the name to 4500. Guess they could have just called the 3500 a 4000 from the start.

They did enough just to say it at least does more than the hifonics instead of doing similar power.

Was thinking the same thing about the 3500. I don't know why they called it that to begin with.

Lol

Very few people buy 8-12kw amps and very few places will work on them if they need repair. It's a much smaller market then you'd think, that's why the AQ20 is no longer.

I had the privilege of installing the first one sold in the US several years ago. Could have bought it for $750 a few years later and passed on the deal...still kicking myself in the *** over that one...
