If I do the big 3 in 1/0G and have the stock alt of 105/80 idle would that still work for the Aq 2200? @mylows10 are the 2 xfl 12s new?

the xfl subs are new , i only sell new no b stock no refurbs either.as far as your electrical ,you can run the aq 2200 but if you turn it up loud with the engine off or play it like that for long periods of time ,you'll need that small battery in the back close to the amp .

I am close enough to you to hook you up with a custom enclosure unless you have means to build your own...I second the notion of running a pair of XFLs...I have sold and installed them before..very solid subs for the money....

You'll have a lot of dimming at high volumes. I have a 1500 watt amp and I see slight dimming on my 130 amp alt with the big 3 done.

XFLs are beasts, I can vouch for that. And so are double 07's boxes.

I wont be building the box... I have a place in town that can build one for me (might cost a small fortune they quoted 160$ for a 6 cu ft box for the L7).

As my trunk is huge what box type would be best for the subs?

Good choice for the sub and amp. For the box, I would recommend you have one of the guys here build it, you can be certain you will get the right box !
