I know the first gen of L7 was crap and would blow easily. They fixed it in the 2nd gen. I dont want to pay over 350$ for the sub or subs and Im looking for SPL / SQL. Now I need to figure what my next best options will be

U are sadly misinformed ....no L7 are good or sound good..trust me ..there are tons more subs ou there for the money ..if u pay for a L7 u are a sucker ...but if u wana believe ur buddies at work over ppl who know quality audio. then by all means get the kicker lol

For $750 (price of the amp and sub) you could build a system that shits on that one. If you're wanting SPL and SQ, you could buy two Obsidian 12s for $300 for the pair and buy a good amp and have plenty of money left to have a box professionally built

If ur wanting 1 sub id go with a 15 ..look at the classifieds here for something like dd aq ssa fi ia alot can be had for 350 that will outperform the kicker 10 times over

Yes I can actually 390 shipped for 2 xfl 12s to your door. As far as electrical upgrades on the aq2200 that's entirely dependent on the vehicles stock electrical. He maybe able to get away with a small battery in the back and the big 3

I would do the aq 2200 tuned properly for clean power to drive the xcon 15, I prefer a single sub solution, keep things simple.

If I do the big 3 in 1/0G and have the stock alt of 105/80 idle would that still work for the Aq 2200? @mylows10 are the 2 xfl 12s new?
