Let me reiterate. Even if you can get a single 12" type r louder than a single 12" premier, I would still take the premier over the type R anyday.

SQ + SPL > SPL

I really don't care if the type R can hit 150 dbz if I can rip a 40hz fart that sounds better.

man have you ever listen for a sub dif than type R, they are great sub but they are not best SPL, they are not the best SQ and there a lot of sub that will make a R cry like a baby.

get over it, a average brand like Pioneer is making sub better than alpine, that's not so hard to understand, read last month post the R bonners are now gone, there are new stuff better than TYPE R, and one of then are the world record line of PIONEER PREMIER SUBS.

because you read in the forum that type r were the greatest sub ever built dont go saying that all over, just because your mami buy you some type r for Xmas doesnt meen they are the sub that move the world, they are in the past now just move on a let other people enjoy the great things of life like a really good sound system, brand is not importan as you enjoy your system.

is you're talking about numbers go to icixsound.com and check a guy how goes over 140db with a single eD EU-700 is a 6.5" sub, let see if your R get there like it is right now.

MAN GET OVER IT or use your R like a toilet i bet in that departament they beat the SPL.

Nor do I give a shit. A "TCAB" box can NOT make a shitty sub (type r caugh caugh) sound good. PERIOD.

If you want things to sound better then get a alpine type X.. that hybrid has the L7 advantages of the bigger cone area, and also has the advantage of the stronger, more powerful type R motor

lets mak you happy type R are the greatest sub ever, it has win all dB drag comp, if you want a really loud SQ sub get a type R you dont even need an amp cause this sub is so great that it will play even without been hook up.
