so im putting a ma audio eho 15 in my 1997 mitsubishi eclipse and running it off a hk4000d. i need a box design! please! i have 35.5'' wide 17'' high and about 20'' deep to work with

I can't find any specs for that sub. MA's site only says that the recommended enclosure is 5 cubic feet, ported. I don't think you're going to get 5 cubic feet in the back of your 1997 Eclipse.

Using your max dimensions and tuning to 32 hz. would give you about 4.6 cubes after sub and port displacement. That's as close as you'll get using 3/4" MDF.
