I will only be running no more than 5500w rms. Why does xs power list there batteries the way they do? Their site says that a primary d3400 will run 2400 watts and a secondary d3400 will supply 4000 watts. So why would i need a 3rd one? especially sense 90% of my listening will be when im driving or when the car is at idle... i just purchase a 320 mechman alt too

Idk why they list that ..u have 130 ah worth of battery ..i have 255ah. iforesee problems ..i dont see running 5k-6k on 1 extra 3400 not gona.happen without dropping fast

You are going to run about what I run and I dont drop below 13.6 at 2000 rpm. You can get by with the 3400 up front and a 3100 in the back if you go XS. If you go cheaper you will need much more.

XS list the batteries like they do because that is what they do.

U run 3 3400s hes talking about running 2 one.under the hood and one.extra ...not.gona.happen he needs 3 3400s if hes going with them

It depends on the alternator. Those DD amps are the most efficent Korean design. It might be fine, I dont see it dropping below 13v. What front stage amps? That could make a difference also. I know they will be more efficent then my Slash amps. Hell they need a 3400 by themselves

1000 watts from watt though? Murph AH dont mean ****. Just like rms dont mean ****, cone area dont mean ****, coil size dont mean ****, ect. No one spec means anything without the rest. 40ah XS will smoke a 100ah duracell for this application.

Over kill. I dont need that much to run the M4a and slash amps. Overkill is OK though. Match my electrical in the sig and you will be good to go for a very long time issue free. If you think you will upgrade in the future go overkill from the start.
