New Install!

well super glue wouldn't have worked so i jsut used 4 screws....should have used velcro..lol how else do you mount an amp i always use screws hell when i got the amp they gave me screws to use
haha idk. i didnt think you would just screw into your seat like that

ya i had to pre-drill a 0.05 hole first b/c the back of the seats has steel on it! then i took the good ol hand drill and forced the screw in! it works well!!

worst advice ever.
There's a thread on this. If youre on the 'vibrations would kill it' side, then that must mean that you have the best shocks and suspension ever for your car not to experience any vibration. Plus for the high db installs, vibrations can NOT be avoided and yet.. the amp lives.

Look it up and use some logic.

Do those amps really get that hot? My Hifonics 2608D is pushedd quite a bit and hardly ever gets warm and those are pretty much budget amps to most people.......always cool to the touch.

I would think with Sundown amps, at least the class D ones, they would stay cool......now the highs amp might get hot, so put it on the back seat if you have fold down seats and throw it down when nobody is in the car and open the windows.

My Clarion gets hot as fawk and still works like a champ. 5 years plus with no fan.....

as you can see i moved the relay some, so it is out of sight, plus i even TRIED to clean up some of the wiring from the fans!

OKAY now i need some help!!!! see my batteries? well do you see that crap load of wires on top of it? well i want to clean all that up so i need some BUSS bars! so now i need to ask alumium or brass(copper)? also should i use STAIGHT pieces (whihc will make my bars on a slight angle b/c the batteries are perfectly inline) or pieces which have a " __|--- " (zig zag) shape in it? (so a custom busbar rather then a straight one?)

let me know what you guys think and thanks a lot!!!

Kenneth

ya i know the fans aren't really needed on the amp but it looks kind a cool plus they light up blue like my saz2000 does lol! so it gives it that maching effect! loL!
