My Hifonics 2608D is pushedd quite a bit and hardly ever gets warm and those are pretty much budget amps to most people.......always cool to the touch.I would think with Sundown amps, at least the class D ones, they would stay cool......now the highs amp might get hot, so put it on the back seat if you have fold down seats and throw it down when nobody is in the car and open the windows.My Clarion gets hot as fawk and still works like a champ. 5 years plus with no fan.....</blockquote>
