I've just installed 2 10" Kicker Sub and all new door speakers into my truck. The front speakers are ran off a separate amp (which is working fine). The rear speakers and subs are ran off a 1600watt 4 channel amp. I've got the two rear speakers bridged and ran into the amp and they are working fine. Now to the problem, I have my 2 10" Subs that are bridged and plugged into the amp, and as soon as I go to put some power to them, they throw the amp into protecion mode. I can adjust the rear speakers as loud as I want, as soon as I get some thump into my subs its cuts off. I've sanded the ground down to the bare metal, so I know that's not the problem. I can start to get some power to the subs when its on HPF, as soon as I switch it to full or low, it cuts off. I've installed a few systems, but by far am no pro. The head unit is an eclilpse avn6620. I've got all the preouts and settings on 0, and still can't get this going. Please give me any suggestions, thanks alot.
