new install power question

I am about to pull the trigger on 3 sa-12's and a ct sounds 2500.1

my plan is to run my main battery (optima red top) 2nd battery under the hood (xs power D3400=3300amps) already have the 0 gauge big 3. one run each of 0(+ and -) to 2 (xs power D680's =2000 amps) in the rear and ground both rear battries in the rear of the truck somewhere.

my questions are....can you have too may ground points and will my stock 160 amp alt handle that? if not will a high output alt be better of with adding a 2nd alt be better

thanks for any help guys

you can have too many grounding points. it all meets together anyway... but don't put your grounds to close to each other.

sorry i meant can't have*

Instead of 2 D680s get another D3400 for in the trunk. You really can't have too many grounds either, don't take that as a challenge though //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif unless you plan on bumping for more than a couple straight hours your alternator should be fine, but if you have the cash it wouldn't hurt to upgrade the alternator.

well it is going in a 2010 Tahoe and im putting the battries between the box and the back seat that's why I wanted the thin d680's . I want to be able to keep a little cargo room in the back
