New install diagram...can i wire my electrical like this?

Ok battery question.....

I was planning on using the two Kinetik KHC2000 batteries...but....

Since I will have dedicated charging system for my audio system

would using two XS Power 14 volt D1400's be a better choice?

I have been seeing good reviews about these batteries and I'm thinking

it would make the amps more efficient running at 14.4 volts as opposed to 12 volts...

Correct?

Would the two 14v D1400's along with the mechman 270A be sufficient to run the power I need?

3000 more or less from the Rockford and 1000 between both Infinitys

So 4000 Watts total.....think it would keep me at a constant 14.4 to 16 volts?

The 14v batts charge at 16 correct? So what will the amps see? 14.4 or 16?

So you are telling me that because i'm asking for some advice on the electrical and overall opinions of the general install that i should just quit it and build something smaller that I dont have to ask a question about??

lol umm...nah

Hahaha I think you have your answers after 3 pages so I dont think I need to put anything else in there right?
well still havent gotten any definitive answers about the 14v batts being any more beneficial than the two 12v kinetiks....as the kinetiks have higher ratings but the xs powers have a higher operating voltage.....very simple....i have no experience with 14v batts

no I am saying start small. all that shit can be added in phases.....

oh...lol....well point takin.....but i already have in hand 90% of the gear....just missing the Rockford mono, the TC sub, and the batteries.

I have the truck gutted and stripped as we speak, all of my custom fiberglassing done, and finished all of my sound dampning tonight......now i need to start my electrical in the morning and and click the checkout button on a couple batteries.....but stuck inbetween which batteries right now....I just came across another one that i like as well.......

2 12v Shuriken BT120's

2 12v Kinetik KHC2000's or KHC2400's

2 14.4v XS Power D1400's

I have no experience with the 14 volt batteries and need some advice on just that and then I should be more than good for a while.

I wouldnt even be considering the 14v batteries if I was still on a single charging system, but since I had a dual alternator bracket and a Mechman 270A installed 2 weeks ago.....the 14 volt batteries are peaking my interest now as is the fact at running my amps more efficiently.

But is there a trade off being made here by going to 14v batteries with lower CCA and AH ratings over 12v batteries with higher ratings.....which is going to be my preferred route?

Mechman just made up my mind for me.....plus a couple of youtube videos of the d1400's installed......makes me want one as my starting battery now lol

XS Power 14v's it is!!!

what in the hell?

you should take ur car to a dealer..

you don't wire one alt to the normal cars function and the other to the secondary..

it's a huge waste and if you do you have to isolate the sources..

you don't need to run multipul runs of wire to the back..

use the correct size wire and then use fused distribution blocks to wire your devices..

you don't have to fuse between the alt and batteries..

you could use 2/0 wire from the alt and 4/0 between the batteries and 4/0 to the rear to power the sub amp along with the other amps..

Lol yea....at least no one can say I don't have 'enough' CLD.....haha fml
And I can say things like "my dampener cost more than your whole system buddy."

Lmao....even tho its not funny...oh well.....putting in the ccf and mlv tommorow
and that sir make u an idiot..

I pride myself in kick *** with 1/2 the equipment and money..

lol hmmm....that is the biggest bunch of horsecrap i have ever heard sir......

4ga. wire for 4000 watts huh? lol...wtf u smokin?

Dual charging systems is a excellent idea when im running as much electronics and peripherals as I am and I see no waste at all unless you mean the 10% capacity that the stock alt. has to give my audio after the vehicles load....

And 10% copper 90% CCA is rated for 250A....so yes I am running double runs to account for the capacity shortage....half the cost of 100% OFC and will have a larger load capacity.

AND ALL OF THE WIRE THAT I AM USING IS THE CORRECT SIZE..........how do you figure it is not???

Why would you not fuse between the alternator and batteries?? Does not hurt a **** thing except add circuit protection......so you are telling me that you do your BIG 3 upgrade with no fuse on the alternator to battery wire? Same thing. Anything will work WITHOUT a fuse....but why when its cheap and easy and peace of mind??

The only thing that u said that comes close to anything resembling CORRECT is maybe using 4/0 between the batteries.....but again why?? I have plenty of 1/0 so why would i not use that....makes no sense and amazes me that you would take the time to tell me that i need to use 4/0 instead of 1/0 on two 12" pieces of wire.....lol jeezus

lets just assume from now on that when i post looking for advice or anything for that matter....that i am not wanting it from you....

everytime you comment it is dripping with negativity and you try and be-little anything anyone else might be doing or installing.

have a good day sir
