so i had a dc 15" all hooked up no problems, stock head unit.
hooked up a distro block, still stock head unit, no probs.
swap head unit, ran rcas from sub output to sub amp. ran rcas from front preouts to speaker amp.
speakers work fine, sub plays but is very very low/quiet. so i figure i need to invert my rcas, maybe i have them wrong. so i swapped the left/right. same thing.
so i swap the rcas from each amp. same thing.
so i switch them again in case i have the polarity wrong. same thing.
all the hu filters are off, sub volume is maxed out. same thing.
the speakers remained playing the same with each rca
lastly, the sub plays really weird. after a hard hit, it like vibrates a ton, at max excursion for no reason, no music is played. it does make a vibrating sound, but it isnt playing music.
ideas? thoughts? what do i try?
forgot, the head unit worked fine in previous car, with different amp/subs.
