HUH?
Yes. Like others mentioned, look to a used AQ 2200D for the power you need at 2 ohms. If I was certain I was not going to use mine in the future, I would offer to sell it to you..But it would be too hard to replace for the $.sorry i didnt mean to come off angrily, my mistake. just one last quick question. i cant understand why if i get one amp that does 1000wrms at 1 ohm and another that does the same but at 2 ohm that it is different on my system. is it that the one that can do it at 2 ohms is more efficient and will make them sound better?
p.s. i have decided to just do dual 12" alpine type s's in a custom box powered by either the MB Quart ONX1.1500D or the MB Quart ONX1.1000D
if you are choosing Mb Quart amps, then none of it matters. The reason I recommended at least the HiFonics Gladiator line in any Maxxsonics products was due to efficiency and power output. To be honest, if you are dead set on wanting to buy Maxxsonics, I would suggest finding a offline dealer and buying either the HiFonics Brutus Elite series or the Mt. Olympus series.
These American Bass amps are designed to be 1ohm and are rated that way:
