New guy looking for help with sub install on 2021 VW GTI replacing factory sub-

Not an audio expert, so no flames please. I have searched pretty much everywhere including Google, youtube and many VW forums. I have a 2021 VW GTI that came with the Fender audio system that includes a spare tire sub. I just bought a Cerwin-Vega VPAS12ST spare tire sub to replace it along with the Cerwin Vega 8g install kit. So the CV sub has a built in amp and I am assuming I will tap into the existing factory sub plug, no idea what I need to wire exactly besides the battery for power. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I would like to install myself and not have to pay someone to do it.
