If you just want straight up power and don't care about appearance handling or luxury, then get a ls1 of somesort.

You mention wanting to get up hills in the snow, as good as FWD is it will never touch a 4wd.

If I could afford the gas I would get a Tahoe myself or maybe an Explorer.. Also remember SUV > Sport COmpact Car in accidents.

Thats such a generalization you obviously have no idea what you're talking about

if your thinking about getting a integra for some performance, chances are you wont like it.. once you put a b18c / b20 / h22 or go with some sort of forced induction it'll start being fun to drive.. but like someone said tegs have been on the top10 list of stolen cars for awhile

rsx's are decently nice.. and if you plan on getting one, go for the type-s.. the K20a motors are known for being pretty responsive to basic bolt-ons.. acura cut the RSXs off their line so theres no more rsx's being produced in 07

SUV's serve no purpose in society, and for the people who beg to differ, I ask why? You claim it's used to transport large cargo, but wouldn't trucks do that job better? How about transporting passengers? Isn’t that what mini vans are for? Safety? A large behemoth whose center of gravity is taller than Yao Ming? Come tell me that when your looking at a upside-down highway patrol officer trying to drag you out of your SUV. How about Global Warming? Then you bring up the SUV vs. Passenger car collision. Sure you'll be unharmed, but how about the dead infant child that would've survived if you were driving a smaller, more practical passenger vehicles. If everyone drove compacts, this problem wouldn't exist. Most of the general populations that do own a SUV don’t use it to their full potential; they just hop on the bandwagon to imitate their favorite actor or athlete....

yeh i watched some videos of the RSX on youtube and it looks like that thing rips.

its a shame i dont know much about cars so i cant just find what i want and need for what im looking for.. but im sure by talking to more people and taking my time ill find the car im lookin for.

is there any other cars out there that will perform like the RSX or better for the same price range. i seen some on autotrader for 8000 with 50k miles on them

Have you considered the Mazda3? Great gas mileage, and from what I've heard, they drive great.

I also took an 06 chevy HHR to D.C. and it is a great car. I got around 34mpg highway, and it as a buttload of room! Handles like a champ as well, IMO.

Do you only buy things because your favorite actor or athlete buys them? Is that your reasoning for making purchases? If it's not, why assume that is why everybody else buys things for this reason. Terrible, terrible, logic.

how bout a Mitsibushi Lancer OZ Rally? does that compare to the RSX
i cant speak for the Lancer OZ cause ima honda guy at heart

but just comparing stock numbers the Type-S will definatly come out on top..

06 Lancer OZ Rally SOHC 120hp at the crank

06 RSX-S DOHC 200hp at the crank

whats your budget?

if you can find some cheap civic hatchbacks, integras, or the 3rd and 4th gen accord.. and still have enough left over for a swap, that would be a nice option

but there are alot of other nice used cars you can get.. it just depends on how much youve got to spend
