im getting a new car here real soon and wanted to start thinking about what i want.

im having a hard time picking if i want a little sports car manual to race around in, or if i want something big with 4 wheel drive and lots of room, ( suv type/truck )

im not to worried about gas but i dont want something that is gona **** up my whole pay check each week.

so maybe now with that someone can give me some pros and cons and help me make my choice.

or what your driving and what you like and dislike..

Just so we are clear, and i want everyone clear on this. A Cavalier, Del Sol, NEW VW bug, and Mitias, are now, and will forever be, undeniably, chick cars. So for everyone of you dudes that drives these, stop or just wear a pink shirt, so we know you know.

Secondly, you best bet is to read consumer reviews. It will address a lot of things that you may not have given any thought. I cant really advise you on that as i have not yet, nor likely will i ever own a new car.

anyways, im not sure on a price range, probly anything from 6,000 or under. i know thats not gona get anything to nice but its my first upgrade, and its gona be a hell of alot better then driving my faimlys escort tow car around.

im really lookin for somethin with 4by4, i live in MI and snowboard alot and the little car im drivin is a ***** to get to my hill on a snow storm.

so lets just cross out the sports car or any small car and make new rules.. anything with 4 wheel drive

I own a 99 integra and hate every minute of it. It handles like shit, it's slow as balls, visibility isn't great, steering is not responsize, putting in a headunit is a ***** and a half, it flexes like crazy, and with tweeters in the stock locations, things get very bright and sibilant. I have my EQ cutting 4khz as much as it can go and on some rock songs, it's almost still too much.

The only pro about the car is that it can get decently loud and you can squeeze out about 8 cubes or so in the hatch area. I can easily fit 3 cubes and my mountain bike in the hatch.

Just giving you input on the integra. It's not a terrible car but it is 100% NOT a performance car. People try to drive them hard and it's just funny. They're NOT fast and they handle like shit.

try to find a 96-99 blazer...just sold mine this past summer....i loved that car

My vote is for a 96-01 JEEP cherokee. Plenty of room,great offroad and the straight six will run forever on routine maintenance. It will fit your budget perfectly.

My vote is for a 96-01 JEEP cherokee. Plenty of room,great offroad and the straight six will run forever on routine maintenance. It will fit your budget perfectly.

Also, good recommendation. Or you could look for a 98 5.9 Limited with a big bad 5.9L V8

Or an RT Durango for that matter

I like my F150. Get an ext. cab and you can take out the back seat and put plenty of audio equipment back there. If you don't want to do that the back seat makes a handy shelf. It keeps anything you want within arms reach, and you can still fit at least 2 10"s back there under the seat. Of course they make 4x4's too so you might consider it. Just my 2 cents.
