Ok, I live about 30 miles South of Memphis Tenn, and the laws changed up there and where I live, if your car stereo can be heard more than 50 Ft. away then you get a 50$ fine, i personally have a friend who could of purchased a couple of nice subs instead of paying the fines, (already been fined 600$) do yalls think that this is a really stupid thing...??

lol do the cops take a 50 ft. tape measure out and if they can hear it from there your screwed? or whats the deal?

i know in fort wayne it just depends on how you drive by a cop with your system loud... i mean a cop wont pull you over if you drive by or he drives by you and your system is loud, but if you are at a stoplight bumpin ur shiot then expect to get a 250$ ticket here

i know in fort wayne
HEY.....I'm only about 15-20 miles north of Ft. Wayne //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Anyways, I don't think it is stupid at all. Actually, I think it is very, very appropriate. Playing your stereo loud in a residential area is disrupting and disrespectful to every residence you drive by, to every person you drive by, and to every vehicle next to you on the road.

hey what if its not your music they are hearing just you car ratteling apart cuz you music is to loud. do they tickit you for annoying license plate rattling?
License plate rattle should be outlawed in every state //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/mad.gif.c18f003ab0ef8a0d9c27ca78d77a6392.gif

Nothing more annoying than hearing a car driving down the road, or having a friend demo'ing their system for you, and all you can hear outside of the car is "Bizzz, Bizzz, Bizzzzzzzz"

Same here. The 50ft rule is becoming pretty standard from what i can tell. As to whether the car is moving 60 or stopped, im not sure. Here if you are moving at a good rate of speed you have little to worry about in terms of the police. Nothing aggravates me more than these dumbasses driving around pissing people off in residential areas. Bump responsibly. You may want to hear your Sony (no offense anyone) subs at ten o'clock while driving through town, but not everyone does. We just need to start a movement guys(and gals) LOL.

i'll let my shyt rattle in a neighborhood if its like noon to like 7:00 or something cuz no one will be asleep. but i mean usually when i come the subs are turned off or the HU is completely off. And i dont have it loud when im sitting at stoplights either just for the main reason that i cant afford a 250$ ticket for music... But whatever floats your boat and drowns out the car next to you.....

really denim, we have a rule here in md too? i thought they were just considering it. i dunno maybe im wrong. lol gotta be careful either way when my stuff is installed.
lol yes, and I have 4 sound violations from Ocean city to prove it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif
