I just ran accross these woofers on EBAY and contacted the seller. Apparently TC sounds will no longer be selling the DB 500's, but torrentaudio.com is now the exclusive carrier of these woofers called The Mistral 12. They are also having TC build there flagship woofer called the Deluge in the near future. These woofers are a tweaked version of the DB -500

I just finished speaking with the owner, and not only will they be selling woofers, but enclosures, deadening materials, wiring, installation kits etc. all out of the NY area at that, so those on the east coast, south and midwest who don't wanna wait 5-7 days to get your equipment from California can get it a lot faster

yeah those not the only ones there having available, they're just starting the website and he stated that they will be making enclosures, even to customers specs so don't go off of the initial layout on the website

Yeah well I don't know if there trying to save the market lol, but its good for those who are looking for the db 500-s but cant find them on tc sounds website. Also I think that the flagship will be a line not a single woofer. Just wanted to pass the word along for those people looking for these woofers that all

apparently the pre fab boxes are to manufacturers specs for the woofer, and they will be incorporating other boxes sealed and ported in the future for other subs and other applications.

I don't either. but i wish them well (same with dc, rd (i guess)) and all the other newcomers. they are entering a tough market

I do too.

Maybe they are trying to fill adire's old shoes since they completly bowed out of the market. Not like they were players in the last year or so anyway.
