New car Audio bandwagon

im not making negative post about it... its all about i been hearing about lately here. just take a look at the post. maybe its a good amp... i would never know... i never used it.

the only reason why i want to sell it cuz i wanna match my other Van Gogh amp

will people please stop posting "bandwagon" threads. jesus H christ.

im sick and tired of people complaining about other people on the internet with the same amp\subs as them.

do you really meet that many people in REAL LIFE that has the same system? the internet (here) is a VERY SMALL PERCENTAGE of people. so cut it with the bandwagon BS.

no insult intended, but **** people.

i dont care who has the same sub/amp as me.

just wanted to see who else what the trend will be

and if u dont agree with me or my thread... no 1 told u to reply.

if everyone stop posting stupid threads, or a topic that has been beaten to death, then this wouldnt be an active forum. it would be dead.

you dont like it... dont reply or click ... simple....

What do you mean by lil board?
And the VGA Line hasn't been out for years?
Since late '02(i believe) they appeared at CES, and they main concern is the heatsink, for a class a/b putting out 1600rms(drawing over 2000 since a/b are between 35-70%efficiency range) that amps heatsink is not up to par -thats the general concensus, along with the power supply crunched up on one side- alot of heat to dissipate, with a design that doesn't support it

"I'd be a little cautious...Power Acoustic now owns Soundstream.

I saw a test of one of the newer SS amps in a magazine. Can't remember the exact model, but it didn't meet it's power ratings." Chadillac3 @ ECA

"i question the ability of that amp to do its rated power for long...

look at the heat sink... 1600 watts on that lil heat sink?...very questionable... no fan either." Dingaling @ ECA

I know the Edge series didn't put out their rated power but I see no evidence why the Van Gogh wouldn't, I bet it puts out more. I mean didn't the Reference series have the same issues? And they were considerably underated.

And yes they are now owned by Power Acoustic, but that becomes irellivent when the SS chief engineer designed these amps, same guy that designed the Reference and Rubicon series.

Oh and I planned on getting some fans for it, my last SS amp got pretty hot.

A friend of my just got his amp yesterday and I currently having trouble getting it to work. I think he said that the RCA OPEN light keeps coming on?????

Hey,

That's a picture of my amp!!!!!! Don't steal my nudes //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

If you plug the RCA's in and the light comes on that means its a bad RCA. Tell him to try a new one.
