New Car 1 Speaker =/..

Well I bought my car and it had one speaker in it... a 2001 Camaro SS... with the **** shitty monsoon system in it... instead of getting more monsoon speakers i decided to gut the whole system...

I already purchased a Pioneer HU i believe the p4800?

I also got 2 pairs of JL Audio Components at 50 RMS

im looking for a "budget" amp as im reading

i saw a Power Acoustik gothic at 60x4 i believe or 75

Or a couple of profiles

either way... im not looking to blow the lid off of my car... just no engine noise and SQL... are either of these amps decent?... like i said engine noise and SQL are my major issue... not looking to be a ghetto blaster lol... thank you... Mikey

well i already purchased the components... they are sitting in my garage along with the pioneer HU... just looking to get a decent amp to power them...

my AMP budget is probably up to about 200$ for the 4 channel... i mean these speakers are only running at 50 RMS... dont wanna blow them either.

It is better to purchase an amp that overshoots the handling of your speakers for sound quality reasons, and later upgrades too.

The reasoning is that at a certain point, the amplifier will amplify extra 'white noise' with the signal when the gains are turned up. If you have to keep the gains down to not blow up your speakers, then you do not risk distortion or this 'white noise' so to say. You can always tune an amp for less power than it is rated at with the gain knob, but it is bad to try to get more out of an amp too small, then you end up killing your equipment.

yeah I would go with a nice kicker amp though over hifonics anyday...........look for the kicker kx 650.4 should be right around your range.
