You are not a smart person at all, the pico fuse has to do with noise reduction. THey pop all the time and is the culprit ALOT OF THE TIME. And not only pioneers have it, its just very common with pioneer. My alpines pico poped from hot weather last month so i grounded my RCAS, u gunna tell me that didnt happen too? Your the moron, GTFO the forms. You dont know anything

And i work on my system without disconnecting my batt, cuz im not a fucking retard. Its called a toggle switch, kills power without undoing ure settings

The pico fuse would cause bad whine. It doesnt stop everything from working. It happens when you plug/unplug RCA's with it on. Thats the only way to pop it.

OP seems kind of ignorant. I mean if I had the exact problem with an old Pioneer unit and grounding the RCA's fixed it, that would probably be the first thing I checked, after checking all connections. I'd also like to see a clamp on that alt., I highly doubt its putting out rated, and if it does I'm guessing its around 4-5k RPM.

All I can say abou the is I bought a 220 3 years ago it last 3 months and started dropping voltage from 14.6 to 12. When I called and asked them they said it went bad to send it in. So I did. Took 2 months to get a new one back. Then after 2 months it did the same thing. Only this time they wouldn't warranty the alt. so I took it to my local alt guy the rectifier went bad. He fixed and tested it it only put out 80 amps at idle and 160 at 2k if even that. All I'm saying is bad quality and bad cs and they don't put out what's claimed

My bad.. I guess.. I dont ask questions to often.. I assumed that like every other fuse on the PLANET that if its blown , It wont pass current.. When I do post a thread i'd appreciate a lil respecct in your answer.. I thought that by insinuating that I'd work on my system with the battery's still connected that you were insulting me.. and you seemed to be upset that I said that Pioneer has not acknowledged the fact that they have poor RCA grounds in their head units.. REGARDLESS, we'll never meet so why waste time arguing semantics on a web site?! Jesus! I'm just lookin for some help from someone that may have encountered the same problem.. To all that attemped to do that a really appreciate it.. to mylows10 i'm sorry bro.. im frustrated and aggravated, and i don't need anymore problems than I already have.. peace
