New Box

i just finished making my box thanks to moe lesters collection. its 5 cubes tuned to 34htz. i heard that this box should sound very good with the new type r's (which iam getting tomm.) and i was wondering if you guys do anything with your ports to make it look better like lay carpet in there or paint? any ideas? take a look

Looks good.

Most paint the port black, and its easier to do that while you are constructing the enclosure, but that port is so wide it shouldnt be too hard to do.

Are you sure you followed the box plan correctly? The port should have more length than that...

and that port does look pretty short.... large port area, small port length = high tuning.

thing looks like its tuned around 45Hz or so....

the only thing i dont understand is the red measurement in the port?

whats happnens if i dont brace? and will triangles work for bracing?
