in a hatchback going to be 2 18's on 6k+ what would be the best before i start to build

subs up port back ...subs up port up....or a wall being a last resort seeing my wife still drives the car lol and my set up now is tuned to 32hz and my car at comps is peaking @30hz whats wrong here?

lol it's tuned to 30hz you only thought it was 32 but when all was said and done, when the power was put to the voice coil ,viola' 30 hz

that was with the sweep but most cars peak higher then what its tuned at correct?

Even though your box peak might be at 32 Hz, your subs might have a really low resonant frequency like 20-25 or something, so they actually lower the peak frequency. And in such a small car, I don't think the cabin would affect it too largely should it?
