I would not ask for advice on here if you bring up JL Audio or RF. People on this forum don't necessarily hate these brands but they all think there is better for the money. It's hard to get online advice about a driver because it's all based on personal preference. The best way to make a purchase on a driver is to go to the shop listen to it in an actual enclosure (ported and sealed and see what appeals to you).
