Hey guys, I've never had an issue on a transaction so I'm wondering what is acceptable as far as honoring the transaction. I sold an amp pretty cheap to a good upstanding member on here december 8th. Maybe a month ago he contacted me saying the amp would cut out and you had to press down on the wire for it to work and then it played fine. So I didn't hear from him for another month until tonight. He said the amp isn't working, i believe it's the same problem but I never had a problem with it so I really can't say.
So what is the right thing to do? Asked if I could refund him but that just seems like that's not right?
Do I get the amp back and do 1/2?
Do I say it's been 1/4 year sorry?
What's the right thing to do? It sounds like the terminal took a hit and busted a solder joint so it should be an easy fix. Since it works if pressure is applied.
What is the general rule of thumb? If it was shipping damage that would have been great to know, my packaging could not have been faulted I don't think.
Looking to see what you guys say. After 20 years in this game this is my first "what do i do" moment
