Need your guys help on this one.

Alright i had a show 2 weeks ago. Demoing my sh1t i managed to roll some smoke out the ol port. They all seemed to work after i let them cool down.

Well i think i fried one them because I have one hell of a voltage drop now and i can smell i get them hot.

Here is the problem. I have 8 subs. I took them all out tonight and metered the coils, checked the leads, joints and coil. Also used the good ol nose to see if i can find out that smelt bad.

All the coils meter fine and everything thing else seems fine as well. There was only one that caught my eye and that was because of the smell but it really wasnt that bad

My idea is. Test each one in a box and see which one will start to smell and cause more of a voltage drop then the rest

Anyone got any other ideas

the fact that they all metered the same surprises me. did you look at each coils though?

also i'd look at all the leads ,look for burns or melted areas

yep took a flash light to everyone looking for anything that looks different

i looked thru them. There was one or two that caught my eye. But it just looked like it got the spider hot from the leads but the leads themselves look fine
