There is a cheap amp for sale in the classified here that I was curious about so I was doing some research.

I came across this review here for the amp - OMG people are so stupid

"I think this amp is great. I have it going to my 12" kicker L7. I have had to turn my gain down and pretty much all the setings because the speaker started to smell like speaker smoke. So I love this amp for the money. No problems so far beside's I may need to get another speaker."

What are the chances this user had the gain and bass boost up all the way?

Yeeeeahhh..... That's what the majority of reviews are at SonicElectronix and most other big audio online stores.

So some fool lied on a car forum?? That never happens LOL. He was clipping the crap out of that L7 thus burning the coils hence the smoke smell. Buy nothing from that guy because he has no idea what he is doing and I am willing to bet he treats all his other equipment the same. Stay far away.

No thats a misunderstanding.

Someone on this board is selling a cheap sub amp that I thought might work for an install in my GF's car.

I was looking around on the web for reviews of the amp and came across that review which was written by some random dumbazz, not the guy here selling the amp.

I thought the review was so stupid, and because I have never read such a stupid review - I posted it here.

link please. i'm sold! want to try my luck with the "sub killer" (actually read that on one of those reviews) on my bmf xt15's is it 7.2ohms stable, cuz i only have 4 1.8 coilzes..... lolz, curious to see what it is
