ok my neighbor is beyond car audio illiterate. right now hes running a 15" L7 AND a 12" L7 off of a single boss amp. the 15 is sealed, the 12 is ported. so im like dude.. do yourself a favor... sell me your 12, use that money to buy a better amp and properly power your 15. so hes like ok... now the problem is, i dont know if its a dual 2 or dual 4. is there anyway i can figure out what model it is so i know what oh impendance im looking at.

yeah use a digital TL ohm thermometer, you can get them at radio shack for like $20

take it out of the box and look at the back of the sub. it shows mine is Dual 4 Ohm on the back of my 15" L7.

This woud be the normal thing to do.

if it's the '06 model, it should show on the basket things where the coils are. see
