you spend 40 a week in gas? thats not much better than me...
intake adds about 1-2 mpg, exhaust +2-3, fill your tires with nitrogen instead of air +1-2Get an intake and exhaust... I drive my Silverado about 500-600 miles a week. When it was stock i got about 13mpg now with the duals and AEM intake im getting about 16+ on the highway. I fill up 2-3 times a week and it costs about $45 each time.
Gas sipper FTW...
Shit... My 4 cyl truck is only getting about 18mpg. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

only cars id be interested in would be something that come in manual and would be relatively sorta kinda fun to drive. maybe a regular wrx if i could find one for a decent price
i think its like $5 a tire to have it filled up with nitrogen, but the molecules are bigger than air, so it doesnt leak out as easily. and it doesnt expand and crntract making your tire bigger and small on warm/cold days. as you know, if your low on air, more of the tire is on the ground = engine has to work harder to get it going. more air= easier the vehicle gets moving, and coasts easier at speeds. and they give you a blue sticker on your valve cap so techs know if you take your vehicle some place.BILLABONG- Please explain a bit more about nitrogen in your tires? Id really like to know.
i used to do that, but i found if you own a truck..you cant. itll drive you crazy. i know what i usually get per tank. if i figure out what i got per gallon on every fill up, it only made me want to get rid of my truck. but i love 4wd. plus my truck is paid for.I track every tank I have had since I have owned the car, 47k miles.
