A: keep my tahoe and get a beater car (1500 or less)

B: sell my tahoe and get a jetta

C: sell my tahoe and get a cavalier sport

dont want to sell my trcuk but **** 70 miles round trip everyday is killinme on gas. or anyone have any idea how to improve my gas mileage alot on my tahoe...

only cars id be interested in would be something that come in manual and would be relatively sorta kinda fun to drive. maybe a regular wrx if i could find one for a decent price

If you are only spending 40-50 a week on gas on a tahoe it sounds like you are driving back and forth to work and thats it. I never owned a Tahoe but I had an expedition for a while that got 12-13 and I can't imagine it is much better if any.

yeah i drive as little as possible on the weekends and try not to go anywhere during the week. thankfully my g/f has a grand am that we take pretty much everywhere else.

only reason im hesitant to get rid of the truck is when i had my 350z it seemed like every other day i needed a truck, but wheni have a truck (the other 7 of 8 yrs ive been driving) it seems like it rarely comes in handy.

Get an intake and exhaust... I drive my Silverado about 500-600 miles a week. When it was stock i got about 13mpg now with the duals and AEM intake im getting about 16+ on the highway. I fill up 2-3 times a week and it costs about $45 each time.

hmm i have a old 94 grand am with a inline 4, fill up my tank from full to eh half 1/4 left and its 20 bucks and some change every week. nt too ad for driving a lot of miles. any inline 4 with out much performance done to it will be a good car on mileage, just no power really

I vote for the beater car. Get yourself a 90-93 accord. Great cars, easy to work on, cheap parts, and 30+MPG. Can't beat it.

I spend 40 bucks every half a month in my Focus. Then when summer comes, I fill up my eclispe and usally lasts me the month depending how much I drive it. I use it maybe twice a week.
