Without reading any more than the post. IDMAX is the perfect sub in both SPL and SQ.

just trying to help. go to the gain tutorial like i said earlier. it doesnt matter if you get a $1000 sub or a $100 sub, a clipped signal will kill both.

Their actually not giving you that much shit over it. If you really want your gains set right and your on the south side of houston any time, I'll help you out. I'd prefer you learn to do it on your own, but I would help you out.

Not trying to be a dick or start any kind of confrontation, but this is the kind of sh*t you need to stay away from. Before you take into consideration any brands or models you need to figure out what it is that YOU'RE looking for in a driver. After you figure out how you fryed that AQ anyways. I actually just got off the phone with DJ fron AQ at lunch break. Even the copper coil version of those subs can take some power so something is wrong with the install. Period. But figure out what you're looking for in a speaker before you take anyones advice into consideration.. Space consumption, price, power handling, sound quality etc..
