everytime i install my cd deck i blow a fuse where it causes my dashboard and tail lights to go out.. why is that?i even took it to get installed by best buy and it is still doing the same thing..

Try running a 12V line straight from your battery. Just make sure you fuse that line. Are you using a wiring harness adapter?

Which fuse(s) is the problematic, what is it rated for? As said, try running the separate 12V line from the battery, just to see if there's something wrong with the head unit or not. What head unit are you trying to hook up?

You have your ground hooked up to a dimmer wire.

Some older GM cars use a brown wire for the ground and the black on is the dimmer.

Check your wiring.

Seems to me that you have something crossed. Your dash and tail lights are on the Acc fuse and you have something wired to a power source that shouldnt...most likely a ground.
