Need subwoofer with <5" mounting depth

What kind of research did you do?
Google research. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

I just got on sonicelectronix and pulled up their 8" subs. Found the one's that are under 5" mounting depth and these are the two that would allow me to run two of them. The other subs would only have enough airspace for 1 sub. Maybe i'm wrong in thinking that 2 subs would be better than one. If 1 sundown e8 would outperform 2 re rex's then i'd choose the e8 but I don't know enough. That's kinda why I am here asking for suggestions.

Haha. The Type R should be good.
