Need Subwoofer ideas.

Ok... I'm doing an install in my Audi sometime in the next few months, and am wondering what to do for bass. I've got a perfect 12 at the moment that I'll proably install at least temporarily running off of a cobalt 150.2 (260w RMS @ 4 ohm).

Eventually though, I think I'll want to upgrade, so I'm looking for ideas. I've always been a fan of 10s for that visceral punch in the 50-80hz range, but I'd run a 12 or two so long as it can keep up in that area.

What I'm looking for is suggestions focused on SQ. I listen to ALOT of different music, so it's gotta work as well for classical as it does for Rap.

I've heard about the ED Ks, shivas, etc.... , but can always use more opinions.

I've also thought about focal, CDT, Image Dynamics IDMAX, etc....

BOX SIZE - not a huge issue. I'd be going sealed, so let's say .75 cu ft max for 10s, and 1.5 cu ft max for 12s. With the exception of something like the IDMAX, where one 12" could probably take the place of 2 lesser 12s. Let's say 4 cu ft total for 2 12s or 3 10s.

POWER - That would be upgraded as well, but I do not intend to be replacing the alternator or adding extra batteries, etc... The electrical system on the Audi coupe Quattro is not that strong, so let's say.... 600 watts RMS total (divided amongs however many subs)

COST - Definitely an issue but I'm not going to limit myself to a $ figure.

id say look into the alpine type r's. unless you are just going with 1 sub...i wouldnt recommend only sending 2k's or 2 shiva's only 600w total. the type r's can be had for $110 i believe and are like 300w rms. Then you could pick up a jbl 600.1 or another 600w amp and have yourself a nice inexpensive system.
